Rawlinson Stadium

A New Home for the Women of Troy

Rawlinson Stadium is a purpose-built collegiate venue designed to serve as the new home for USC women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse, reinforcing the university’s commitment to excellence in women’s athletics. Designed by Crawford Architects, the stadium replaces the former McAlister Field with a modern facility that enhances both athlete performance and the game-day experience. The project features fixed seating for 1,700 spectators, a natural grass playing surface, integrated stadium lighting, and an LED video board, creating a vibrant and competitive environment within USC’s urban campus.

The stadium includes a comprehensive suite of athlete-focused and operational spaces, including dedicated locker rooms for each program, team meeting rooms, sports medicine and training areas, and a nutrition fueling bar that supports daily training and recovery. A new press box anchors the facility and supports media, coaching, and game operations, while thoughtfully designed concourses, concessions, restrooms, and elevated viewing areas enhance fan comfort and engagement.

Completed in 2025, Rawlinson Stadium establishes a premier, permanent home for two of USC’s championship-caliber programs. The project balances functionality, identity, and campus integration, resulting in a modern athletics venue that elevates recruiting, supports competitive success, and celebrates the growth and visibility of women’s sports at USC.
