Jeffrey Field Soccer Complex & IPASS

“World-Class Complex For Men’s and Women’s Soccer”

The transformation of Penn State’s Jeffrey Field Soccer Complex establishes a new benchmark for collegiate soccer facilities, creating a unified home for one of the nation’s premier men’s and women’s soccer programs. Completed in early 2026, the comprehensive redevelopment delivers a state-of-the-art Soccer Operations Center featuring dedicated locker rooms, coaching offices, team meeting spaces, strength and conditioning facilities, hydrotherapy, and performance support areas. By consolidating all facets of the program adjacent to Jeffrey Field, the project enhances daily operations, streamlines athlete development, and provides an elevated experience for student-athletes, coaches, and staff.

Complementing the new operations center, the Indoor Practice Air Supported Structure (IPASS) expands year-round training opportunities for Penn State Athletics, providing a versatile indoor environment for soccer and other Olympic sports during Central Pennsylvania’s winter months. Together, these facilities reinforce the university’s commitment to athletic excellence while supporting recruitment, player development, and competitive success across multiple programs.

The project also reimagines the game-day experience at historic Jeffrey Field through a series of fan-focused enhancements, including upgraded concessions and restrooms, improved entry plazas, expanded standing-room areas, enhanced lighting and media capabilities, and covered chairback seating. Long recognized as one of college soccer’s most iconic venues, Jeffrey Field now combines its rich tradition with modern amenities, positioning Penn State to host championship-caliber events while providing an exceptional environment for student-athletes and supporters alike.
