Minnesota Vikings
“An International Destination That Creates a Vibrant, Diverse, and Sustainable Environment”
The TCO Performance Center and Headquarters for the NFL Vikings serves as the centerpiece of a 200-acre site that Crawford Architects master-planned as a mixed-use development to live, work, play and celebrate. The world-class site includes a community trail system, a hotel and conference center, sports medicine research institute, healthcare facilities, commercial offices, multi-family residential, and a retail town center- an activated corporate campus.
The vision for Viking Lakes was to develop an international destination that creates a vibrant, diverse, and sustainable environment for its residents, partners, and community for the next 150 years. Viking Lakes has an atmosphere of success that will promote collaboration between the Minnesota Vikings, corporate tenants, and the community.
Construction on the first phase, which included the TCO Performance Center & Headquarters, TCO Stadium, TCO Medical Office Building, TCO Sports Medicine Center & Training HAUS, and the Viking Lakes Innovation Center, was completed in 2018. The second phase of the project began in 2020, and includes the hotel and conference center plus the town center consisting of ground level retail, potentially with residential and office. Commercial office and more multi-family housing may comprise the third and fourth phases of the project.
